Hmm, hard to say, depends on how you handle the recoil and get back on target.
Here's my advice, go to the range and fire at least 50 rounds of each and compare your results.
I fired a Model 36 snubby today with 158gr ammo and hit 2" groups 82% on the first 40 rounds and 87% on the second 40 rounds.

One comment - it does seem most snubs and revos are sighted to suit 158's .... that said I do use Cor-Bon 140's .357 loads in a SP-101, tho preference there is actually for 110 +P loads for control.
On balance I'd personally favor ''slow and heavy".
As Ruger Girl says tho - do a comparison.

I frequently carry a brace of six-guns off duty.
They see one load, and one load only for self defensive purposes. That's the 125 Grain load. Ed Sanow named it "The King of the Street" for a reason.

i have that gun wish i could tell you an good answer. i agree with the fire 50 rnds and compare comment. when i take mine out i buy what wally world has either the remmingtons or the winchesters. haven't really compared groupings that much i normally just try to hit center mass and keep familiar with it. maybe when i start reloading i'll deal more with groupings like i should be. let us know what you find out! i for one and interested
My GP100 seems to like the heavier loads better. When I carried a Speed Six I used the 125 gr. JHP in 38 +P and it did very well.
