If they both work fine in your pistol then it doesn't really matter how you stack them.

No need to do it. Might not look good in court. If its every other round Murphy's law will end up with you wishing you had the other round every shot. I would carry the 155s over the 140s just because I like heavier bullets for more reliable penetration.

I can't say I've ever mixed different brands of ammo in any of my carry magazines. What would be the reason?

I had considered that myself...........then thought along the lines dukalmighty's response of carrying a mag of each.
