Everyone in town is out of 9mm!

You probably already knew this, so who has the best deal online, period?
Also, last time I ordered ammo, they left it at my doorstep.
I was pretty annoyed.
They told me that I had to sign for it, so I figured I'd get the
note on my door to pick it up at UPS, but no, I guess it just sat there all day
where anyone could just pick it up and walk away with it.

The internet my friend can be a great resorce for ammo. Ammo2go ask to have a signature and they won't leve it at your door and also you can have ups hold it at their pickup facilities. I've done it. also I've left special instructions before for them to leave it around back of the house.

From what I am seeing and reading there is almost no 9mm anywhere. It is scattered about in some Wal-Marts and Cabelas here and there but it gets bought up quick.

A place in Murphreesboro(sp?) NC, called "The Outpost" is said to have a bunch but they wont answer the phone.

All of my ammo shipments go next door to my aunts who is always home to sign or receive it.

whenever my local store is out of ammo, i just go to the grocery store and buy myself a bass pro gift card and order it from their website. its usually at the house in 2 days. its much cheaper from them than my local stores and the saving from the first box is enough to cover shipping on the other boxes.

I was in a Cabela's, and a Sheels on Saturday, both were out of 380 and 9mm ammo-----except a few boxes of cci shot shell type.

40 and 45 was ok. Its just strange.

You probably already knew this, so who has the best deal online, period?.

Walmart has, over time, consistently had the lowest prices on the practice ammo I use (typically Winchester white box in 9mm and .45 ACP), in the quantities I needed (typically a few hundred rounds at a time).

For defensive ammo, I've always gotten the best prices online, but I've never found any one place online that consistently had the best deals on ammo.

Of course, now the issue is more often to find it in stock than to find it at a great price.

I just ordered ammo online from Cabela's. Granted, you're going to expect a backorder on 9mm. Mine should be here in 1-2 weeks. It's much better than constantly checking my local gun store and Wally World to find nothing.
