Buffalo bore ammo ordering questions

For those here who have ordered from buffalo Bore ammunition is there a long back log on receiving your order? I ask as I'm wanting to order some of their standard pressure .38 special defensive ammo for my older alloy framed carry snubbies.

I have been wanting to order from Buffalo Bore for awhile now to try their ammo out as I've read good things about their ammo her.But can't find a phone number anywhere on their website and was curious about feedback from thos who have bought ammo from them.

I have purchased Buffalo Bore Ammo twice, but I think both times I actually purchased through Midway USA. The delivery was about a week or 10 days. I think Midway was even a little less expensive than the Buffalo Bore Website. I may have just got lucky and caught Midway during a sale.

BTW which 38 special are you looking at? They carry 3 different types in 38 special standard pressure. I purchased the 125gr Speer Gold Dot (BB #20/E/20). The stuff is great! It really packs a punch.

I think I may try one of the wad cutters next time. Use it as a backup reload. Someone here at DC had once mentioned using wad cutter or ball ammo for reloads since by the time you need to reload the BG may be behind cover and you could use more penetration.

I have purchased directly from their website twice and purchased through Cabelas twice. Each time same cost. The order directly from Buffalo Bore arrived quicker. No issues and great ammo.

49 & 442: Standard Pressure 158's.
640 (38) 158 grain +P's.
340 PD: 125 grain +P's.

Tedbeau I was interested in the 158gr lead hollow point standard pressure for defensive use as my old model 42 S&W isn't +P rated.

I dont like their new website at all, and I notice that they took down the statement that says they use flash suppressed powder and I THINK some of the ballistics data. its hard to tell with the new layout.

I've ordered the BB 38+p stuff, and like it very much.

But if you want another option, Double Tap is my 45acp load of choice. I don't see a 38 Special without the +P however...
