Well, my advice is generally any HP from a reliable manufacturer (Corbon, Federal, Winchester, Remington, ect...), that operates 100% out of your weapon, without having and misfires, jams or anything.

That criteria might be the most important. Some company would make a super do it all bullet, but if it didn't function was well as my HP's, I wouldn't use it.

I carry Ranger in my Sigs. Unless you have feeding issues with it I don't think there is anything out there that gives you more bang for the buck. Most of your high end stuff from any of the major manufacturers will do just fine.

I'd worry more about shot placement than SD rounds, especially when you're already using SXT.

ditto, the round that the shooter can reliably put on target. The more reliable and the tighter the shot group the more likely chance of incapacitation see the FBI HWFE And as they say in the HWFE it's penetration that does the trick.

I will be ordering from BuffaloBore for my next batch of .45acp carry ammo. Really high quality consistent ammunition.
I like their hard hitting +P ammunition.

    .45 ACP +P Ammo - 185 gr. J.H.P. (1,150 fps/M.E. 543 ft. lbs.)
