The joke at my local fire department that I volunteered at was to drive away if my house caught fire.

I wouldn't say that I stockpile ammo but I would prefer to have around 6 months supply of range ammo. With the price of ammo nowadays it makes good sense to locate ammo while we can afford to buy it.
