    Question True or Rumor....??

On another site someone posted that the "Feds" are no longer selling their brass casings to ammunition mfgs. the post stated that they are shredding the brass and that can be bought but other than that they wont sell the once used casings for reloading........it sounds like bs to me but just thought Id throw out what I had seen for pro response........

It is not true. Last month there was a miscommunication among the DOD and the folks that are in charge of getting rid of surplus gov stuff. It is all cleared up and the gov brass will be flowing freely still.

Here is the thread that dealt with it.

Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

Being paranoid, I don't believe it was a "miscommunication"; we have seen this administration send "trial balloons" and quickly back-pedal when it created an uproar.
    Let's not under-estimate the enemy.

You need to look at the other thread, and even go to the NRA website and read their explanation. Any decision that was made by the DOD regarding surplus brass was done last year, not by the current administration.

Being paranoid is not a good thing in my book. It causes folks to do things that they normally would not. Many say the opposition is paranoid, we don't want to become like them do we?
