Before I go out and buy another safe to put my ammo in so I will have more room in safe #1, I need some advice. Instead of buying a small fire resistant safe, am I just as well off, if not safer, keeping the ammo in a locking chest such as a Jobsite or Knaak chest that would provide room for expansion if a fire ever did occur?
A JobBox for ammo storage? Sounds like a great idea! In case of fire? Run Billy....run! Run until you can't run no more!

Just hit up an army surplus store for some 50 cal ammo boxes. I've got one for 45 ACP, one for 357 SIG, one for 9 mm..................... You get the idea.:image035:
I use metal ammo boxes...no need to lock it...just keep your "tools" locked up.
