    Good news

Yesterday, I went to pick up the shotgun that has been waiting for me to return from California. At the shop I was able to get Remington and Winchester 12ga #1 buck at $5.99/box, and Winchester Ranger-T in 357SIG 50ct box for $39.99. The shelves were fully-stocked in all major calibers for rifle, pistol and shotgun. The shop that has the best selection of reloading supplies was in-stock on most powder in both 1lb and 8lb containers, and fully stocked on replacement parts and accessories, as well as components. Gander had powder, components, and equipment.

The prices aren't great, but they aren't outrageous, either. Where I shopped for ammo, the prices were below what I'm seeing on the internet. Importantly, to me, the price of 357SIG in a premium defensive load was no more expensive than it has been for several years, and less expensive that what some "cheaper" sources on the net are charging for 50ct boxes of 9mm JHP.

Seeing everybody in stock and prices not outrageous gave me a little hope...and I thought I'd share it.

I hope the stocking continues to spread and the hoarding stops.

Hopefully the crazy prices will help a faster return to "normal" availability and prices.

Supplies seem to be getting better here as well. I was at two different stores this week and I was able to pick up 9mm at both. They did have a limit on how much you can purchase though.

Still not good here in the Metro Detroit area.
But I did get lucky yesterday, scored some Federal Nyclad's for my snubbie.
I'm still doing that happy-wiggly dance
