just an idea for a little research. go to gunbroker and see what new and used are selling for then expect to get less as a trade in. how much less depends what you are trading for and how much wiggle room the dealer has. you'd do better to sell it out right unless you are in a hurry. just an simple opinion.
I can tell you this much.........CPO P220 pistols at some of my local gun shows sell for around $650 or less. I'd guess it depends on how hard they are to find in your area.
There is also a book out there with gun values published... can't remember the name, but it's like the Kelly Blue Book for cars... you might take it to a local shop for an appraisal.
"Who is to say that I am not an instrument of karma? Indeed, who is to say that I am not the very hand of God himself, dispatched by the Almighty to smite the Philistines and hypocrites, to lay low the dishonest and corrupt, and to bust the jawbone of some jackass that so desperately deserves it?"
Around 580.00 Used is the price Im finding.
I know not what this "overkill" means.
Honing the knives, Cleaning the longguns, Stocking up ammo.
