Yes. .22 WMR is .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire, same as ".22 magnum." The nomenclature sometimes gets confusing. You probably know, but just in case, don't shoot .22 Long Rifle ammo in the magnum cylinder.
I've had a .22 Mag mini for years. It was my last-ditch gun for a long time 'til my wife claimed it. ;) She has tiny hands and actually enjoys shooting it. I've been looking at the pug for awhile now and am considering getting one of those (hey, any excuse, right?). ;) Good luck.
gilfo, one of the many nice things about this forum is that when someone asks a basic question, no one jumps on them for it.
Just make sure you don't try and use .22WRF ammo. It is different. And although fairly rare, it is out there.

Bought one just because and is kinda fun and cheap to shoot. It can be hidden just about anywhere.
