Shop where I buy has gone up too, from 18.99 for 50 .45acp fmj, to 21.99.
Perry's in wendell nc had 1000 rnd cases of .38 for like $360 the other week.
I always thought gun show ammo was too expensive
Just order from Widener's. They still have Prvi Partizan for $13.90/50. This stuff works great in my two revolvers (old Colt Official Police and S&W 340sc).

Do they have a website???
I found that gun show price is same as elsewhere (going rate) but you don't pay shipping so its less.
After not finding any "range ammo" (winchester white box is what I usually feed my XD45 at the range) for about a month and a half, I finally stumbled onto some at the Wal-Mart within walking distance of me the other day.
Picked up 200 rounds for just over $60.00(wish I could have gotten more at the time, and may swing back by to see if there are any boxes still left). I have enough SD ammo on hand to not have to worry about that so much (3 13 round mags of Hornady TAP45+P JHP 230gr...after dropping about $65+ on 60 rounds to be sure it fed and fired reliably, I'm quite impressed with that particular round, but I've been dying to get back out to the range to improve my sight picture with my XD. Still shot sub 3" groups with the Hornady's, but my XD still needs a propper whooping before I'm totally comfortable with it. Only ~160 rounds through it so far. Those all went off without a hitch, can't wait to see what she does with the next 200 :) I expect more of the same. It'll go bang.
went to a gun show about a month ago here in central ohio and folks were charging loan shark prices for 45acp. wwb 100 round for $75.00 :aargh4: so no gun show ammo for me. they can choke on it for those prices
