JDE that $28 I think is what they list the 100 round pack for. I would guess wrong shelf.

I bet you guys are correct. I asked her if they were 50 or 100 round boxes and she said 50, but I bet she or someone else put them on the wrong shelf. The shelves were mostly empty, and since they have the area "roped off", you can't get close enough to read the tags on the shelf yourself. I'll go back later today and check, but I imagine it will be a fruitless effort. By now, someone who was smarter than me will have had them scanned for the correct price and will have scarfed them up. Oh well, live and learn. Problem is, I'm old enough I should have learned by now.

The shortage isnt over. Every Wal Mart around me now has a 6 box limit.
FWIW, WalMart has raised their prices.

I found 4 boxes of 100 rnd winchester .45acp today at wallyworld, for 31.97 ea. and that was pretty much all they had except for some rifle ammo, and two boxes of .45 acp jhp's for like $29 for 50.

We can now find it for the most part...its still however a chore to find it at a decent price.

Still has not reached Michigan, was in 7 stores in 2 counties and NO 45 ACP, NO 9mm, NO 38, NO 357, NO 10mm and one firearms store only had 22LR.
Hopefully it will be making its way up here.

I havent bought anything other than .22 ammo in years.
The primer situation is still bleak.

Just as I figured, I went back and the two boxes were gone. Absolutely no handgun ammo on shelves at all.
If I ever see ammo there again, and if they tell me an outrageous price, I'll be smart enough to ask for a price check.

Walmart here just redecorated. Their new ammo shelves are closed and locked behind wooden doors, so you can't even see what they have in stock, rather what they don't have in stock. You have to try to find somebody to ask.

We still are bare shelved here in eastern NC. 40 S&W seems to be coming back somewhat, but not much of anything else.
I would still maintain a good ammo supply because you don't know what the future will bring.

Well the wife checked one of my three Walmarts and said all they had was shotgun ammo. That was nine oclock on Friday. That is the one that also sells guns so I am thinking that maybe they get a little traffic in that department than my other stores. I will try to get out and check them soon.

The ammo supply hasn't trickled down to Florida yet. I checked 2 Walmarts today and came up dry.
