shortage of ammo affected your practice?
Have you been holding on to the ammo you have and collecting more?
Been shooting it up as normal?

I can barely practice. Maybe 20 rounds a week on a good week. I have my carry rounds (Gold Dot HP) and I have 1 WWB (100) that I won't touch unless I have to. Being able to practice is completely contingent on finding 40 S&W somewhere.

I purchased a lot of ammo a year ago, but not to shoot more at the range...rather to take a few courses.

I have been shooting about the same as I always do.
The son has started shooting so more .22 rds are being shot, and I have been pressuring the wife to shoot more so those numbers are up.
I really pays to reload. In fact I have actually given some ammo away in the past 4 to 6 months to new shooters.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

I'm definately shooting less and plan to continue doing so until reloading supplies become more readily available.
If the current situation doesn't improve within the next two months or so, I may stop shooting all together for a while.

For me, it hasn't been the ammo shortage, it's been a money shortage! Geez, I hope I find a job soon. It's tough to drop from $100K/year to $393/week unemployment!
