Foot shot with a .45

So my father of all people sent me 4 photos today...of a guy who had shot himself in the right side big toe with a .45. Being a new owner of one (yes I'm safe with it, yes I know firearm safety) this was the last thing I wanted to see in my inbox:

Needless to say...Ouch. And Whoemever this guy was, he got real lucky he didnt lose that toe, or his foot altogether.

I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this in, but if it isn't please go ahead and move it. I wasn't able to discern where to post a "soandso shot himself in the foot" thread, so I figured here was the most likely spot.
