Im not hear to be told 147gr ammo is stupid worthless junk in 9mm.It fires great out of my s&w 469.My father and brothers guns as well.With NO malfunctions!I just want to compare the two rounds I bought for defence.The silvertips seem to expand better.The sxt's seem to penatrate better in tactical tests.I cant get the sxt ranger talens here in ma.So I want to pick one of these.Or second pick would be the corbon 115gr.+p.Great street record.But most 147gr penatrae a little better!

147 gr or 124 gr??????either will works inside the BG as long as it works in your firearm.

147 shoots great out my Glock too,. I've heard some gun's will not shoot 147 will, ????

SXT wins hands down. SXT is the politically correct version of the "Black Talon". Same bullet only it's not black. I've recovered bullets and the expansion and penetration is very impressive to say the least.

I'd go with the SXT or HST over the silver tip. 147gr got a bad rap many years ago. They are excellent rounds now and penetration is almost equal to .45.
