I think we have another verse for Pete Seeger:

Where have all the .45's gone. Long time passing
where have all the .45's gone. long time ago.

Well, I ain't buying it. So I don't know where it went, but it didn't go here. Not at todays prices. Luckily, I stocked up beforehand, becuase if I could find it, I couldn't afford to buy it today. That's becoming the case with .40 cal as well.

The only centerfire handgun ammo I can afford to shoot is the puny ole 9mm. Except for the stuff I reload myself of course.

I started buying up ammo back in early 2009 when Chairman Obama was sworn in. Since then I have horded almost a case and 1/2 o 45 and a half case of 38 special. Here in Westchester virtually impossible to buy ammo. I literally called shops within a 50 mile radius. Surprisingly there are some shops in Long Island and in Dutchess County. And many of those shops are limiting to 2 box purchases. Additionally I have seen the prices go up. Prior to the Annoited One being sworn in I could have picked Eagle Ammo or 13-15. Now I am paying 21.95 in Dutchess and 24.00 in Long Island. I say to call buy up what you can.

I have also read that in The Wall Street Journal that Ammo manufacturers are increasing their operations to meet the demand. Hopefully things will stabilize. This much for sure, once that Idiot Chairman Obama gets defeated in 2012 things will normalize. We need a real leader who respects the 2nd amendment our overal Constitutional Rights.

Ha, not any harder to find than a Unicorn. You just have to know where to look.

and when I find that place I will let you know.
