MagTech ammo does not have a good reputation among shooters.

One of our founding members, whom Bob Ford's Place is dedicated to,
blew up a high end 1911 (Nighthawk Custom, I believe), with MagTech .45 ACP ammo.

I don't shoot the stuff. Not worth the risk.

Check out my post down below. I bought a box of 20 Magtech Guardian Gold in 38 special, and 8 out of the 20 would not fire, even with multiple attempts. Not exactly what you would want in a personal defense load. I know I will NEVER buy them again. Don't waste your money.

I use Magtech .380 FMJ for practice and it's always worked great for me.

Their 1st Defense ammo is probably a better option.
