I ran to Wal Mart and they had Federal Champion .40 S&W at $12 per box. I bought the limit of 6 boxes for the day. Beats the hell out of the $36 per box American Shooting Center was charging for their home plinking reloads. I usually buy Winchester White Box for plinking. How's everyone's experience with Federal Champion? I will probably go back tomorrow and buy more. Maybe bring a few friends so I can get around the 6 box limit.

Same boat as you, I went to 4 different stores and found the WWB at the 3rd store. They only had 2 boxes of 100 so I picked those up. As I was checking out the guy was telling me about the other location, down the street, that has more from time to time. I decided to stop their also and found WWB and the Federal, so I picked up 6 boxes of the Federal. So in total I got 500 rds. for the day, not bad for my first day out looking in a while.
