Fiocchi 9mm at Ammoman
For anyone looking for target ammo, I just received an email update that Ammoman has 9mm FIOCCHI - 130 GRAIN FMJ in stock at $299.00/1000, delivered. I know this is more expensive the WWB at Wal-Mart, but for folks having a difficult time getting as much as they need and with current prices, this doesn't sound bad if you need to resupply. Just thought I'd pass it along.

It's my understanding that it is loaded to NATO specs, rather than SAAMI. I would definitely watch for any signs of excess pressure.

First of all, it's nice to see ammo starting to stay on the shelves. If this stuff
is on the hot side make sure your firearm is in good condition before you use this
ammo in it.Let's advert a catastrophic failure where a shooter ends you having a doctor picking metal out of his body.

My XD loves it. It seems more accurate than WWB to me. I got more of it on the way. Our wally world is still empty shelved.

I never had any problems out of this brand ammo in 9mm, 40S&W, or 45acp. it was the most available around these parts for years where I did my trading. I probably still have some back in the deepest, darkest depths of my ammo cans.

I was searching for some info on this load and read on Taurus armed that 3 Taurus 24/7 pros coudn't handle this load and had to send them for repair after 10 rounds. 1 claimed it Blew the slide right off the gun. 24/7 manual said 124gr is the max bullet for the gun. You never know what to believe, but something to consider. I woudn't thinks this load produces more pressure than a +p load.

Then 9mm FIOCCHI (not sure
Thats what I'm thinking, but it seems there are some people having issues with this ammo. Who knows what condition their gun is in or maybe the gun was defective and the major malfunction was unrelated to the ammo.

I did not want to hijack the thread. So I deleted the thread js quoted, and stated a new one.

I've used a ton of Fiocchi ammo and have never had a problem...

I have put about 300 rounds of it through my XD and it eats the ammo just fine.
I have a close friend with a S&W Sigma 9mm, he has sent his gun back to S&W twice. Both times he was using this ammo when the issue arose, the first time a piece of the brass got stuck behind the firing pin (acc to the gun shop), and they still have it for the 2nd round.
I do trust this ammo in my XD, your results may vary.
