    Shot some Hornady .45 230gr XTP (+p)

    Stuff just seems build extremely well and heavy. If ammo got points for fit and finish this would win an award.



    How did it shoot!! HOLY POW BATMAN!!!! I was not expecting such a violent bang or recoil. Def will require getting used to but at 20.00 a box that could be expensive.

    So far this is my carry choice!

    I picked some up for my defensive load but I haven't shot any yet. What has the consensus been on these for an EDC defensive round? BTW got 'em in my Para GI Expert 1911.

    I have read several articles saying positive things about them. I figure before I can switch I need to have the cash to buy a couple hundred to verify functioning in a particular pistol.
