wally world is out but then again i really don't check all that often anymore or not with any real interest. i'd think the local gun shops might have some but you'll pay more for it. the gun show usually has enough ammo. thats about all i can tell ya. sorry doesn't help much but i reload so if i'm looking @ the ammo/ammo shelves its just to laugh @ the overpricedness or the emptiness of the shelves

Orlando? You're going to need ammo just to get TO the ammo store.
Orlando is not a great place to travel around in, some places are extremely dangerous...around Disney you still need to be cautious, but that area is much better.
I would not be traveling around the Orlando area at night and not know where you are going. OMO

Seeing that you are traveling through Gainesville and Ocala to get there, why not stop in the Gander Mt. that is located right on I-75 just before Ocala... Gander Mt in Ocala, FL - Google Search

    Enjoy your vacation...

    NC to FL

If you will be traveling down 95, there are some Wal Marts on the way. I recently traveled from Charleston, SC to Pensacola, Fl. I stopped at Wal Marts in Walterboro SC, Savannah Ga, and Jacksonville Fl. Each one was in sight of the Interstate and about a 10 minute stop. I was able to get a lot of .45 ammo. I was only looking for the Winchester 100 round boxes and I found several at each store.

It's hard to beat 100 rounds of .45acp for $35.

If you Google Walmart and follow the route you will take, you should locate several within a half mile of the interstate. Just print out a couple maps and plan your fuel/bathroom stops to go with bullet shopping.

    Good luck!

You might want to go to Bass Pro Shops in Orlando on Oak Ridge Road. They have reloading equipment, ammo, and guns. There is a Gander Mountain off I- 4 in Lake Mary. There are 3 of Super Walmarts within 5 miles of my house.

    Here in the 'Orlando' area............

my experience is that Bass Pro never has .45acp. Neither does W/World, and local gun stores have limited supplies. My best advice is ATG, or Natchez online. They have in stock supplies, no waiting, except for the UPS truck.

The Gander Mountain in Lake Mary has been seeing better supplies lately. Shoot Straight in Apopka usually has some around but call first. Also worth a look is East Orange Shooting Sports, my favorite gun emporium and indoor range in the Orlando area.

Check the prices at sgammo online. I get most of my ammo there. They have good prices and they have .45 in stock. For example: 100 - 45 Winchester Ranger Bonded HP RA45B at $69.00
