.380 pricing

Everyone on the interwebs complains about the pricing and availability of the .380 ammunition. I also see incredible pricing at gunshows and on gunbroker for .380 ammunition.

What prices do you see locally for
FMJ range ammo?
JHP ammo?
Any limits on how much you can buy at one time (besides the obvious budget related ones)?

Locally to me in Ohio this is what I see:
FMJ runs $17-20 a box of 50 depending on brand.
Horndady CD runs $20-24 a box of 20.

Limits depend on the store but vary from one box to unlimited.
I have not found any in Walmart in the last year.

I think I've reposted this guy's link enough I should be getting paid. It's a search engine of sorts that looks through 17 stores and shows just whats available. It only refreshes once per day, so sometimes a listing will be sold out by the time you check it.

I'm in Georgia. I just picked up some 90gr GoldDots for $22 and change. The FMJ are about the same as you listed.

The site linked above shows 90 grain gold dot hollow points at 40.95 for 20 rounds. ***??????. I picked up 4 boxes at the LGS last month for 17.00 a box even money.

In this area of Texas, 380 ammo doesn't exist.

When I have brass in stock, new .380 is priced at $350 per case of 1,000 rounds and reloads are priced at $295 per case of 1,000 rounds.

.380 ACP seems to be hit and miss. The big issue right now isn't with bullets or primers, it's with the brass. Low volume production (relative to other cartridges) coupled with high demand (everyone wants a bunch of it) is shaking things up a bit. I talked with Starline at SHOT and they are increasing production of 10mm and .380 brass by 20% to help out.

reload, you can knock your 'per-round' price down to about 10¢/round

It's so very scarce and expensive in my area, I sold off the three .380's I owned. :frown:

no 380 ammo in my area. have not seen any in months.

Just picked up 6 boxes an hour ago. Price show in pic.

Haven't seen any lately. Saw some today, some poor elderly man got screwed over at like double what it should be. Sorry, but I'm not buying a .380 until I can find ammo to FEED it for less than $.50/ round.

Are ya'll sure this ".380" ammo ever existed? - thinking it may be a figment of everyone's imagination.
