Extreme Shock 85gr. Air Freedom Rounds

    Hi All:
Howdy, I'm a newbee here and have a question on the Extreme Shock 85gr. Air Freedom Rounds. I have not fired any of these yet, and am wondering if any of you have tried these out.
I am wondering if they have any issues with the tip of the bullet sticking in the loading process, or any other issues you may have had.
I feel that this would be a good ammo to use all the time, especially in a city environment.
Thanks in advance for your input.
    Sincerely,
    Steve

I actually have never heard of those, but I can say this. Make sure and run a box of your chosen carry ammo through the gun, just to make sure it performs correctly. You always want to do this with any gun you want to trust your life with.

The Box O Truth tested the Air Freedom rounds, and the results were not encouraging. The Box O' Truth #23 - ExtremeShock™ Ammo and the Box O' Truth - Page 1

They seem to lack the penetration needed for effectiveness in stopping an assailant.

Personally, I'd spend 1/2 the money and buy some proven defensive ammo. Speer Gold Dots, Federal HST, Winchester Ranger T, etc.

Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.

Yup, since posting the question I have seen lots of interesting data. I think I will take tomorrow off and see if there is an area around here where I can do some "testing."
Thank you to all who have responded
