Magpul Dynamics: The Art of the Dynamic Handgun (DVD set)

I bought this dvd set via ebay earlier this week and it arrived today. I am only 1:30 into the first dvd and find myself trying to RE-absorb much of this material. (I took a defensive shooting class earlier this year and much of what I have watched thus far is a review of things we learned in class......but that is a good thing.) I will be watching the rest of the dvds over the next few days and will update the thread as I do but so far, so good.

BTW, they are listed on the Magpul site for $50 but I was able to purchase them for $40 on Ebay with free shipping.

Just want to second the purchase! In my 10 years in the military, 7 Long Range Surveillance, 3 years PSD, 2 combat tours i have yet to receive anywhere near this level of weapon training and manipulation. These guys are top notch tactical shooting instructors and have years of Special Operations Command time. With the video's low price tag it's value added to your individual tactical proficiency far out weighs any fancy tactical light, boo coo expensive carry rig, or weapon mods. The weapon will only perform as well as the shooter can manipulate it. Of the members of this forum, myself included, 95% have not had the special training required to manipulate a weapon system the way the instructors present in their course work. After watching "The Art of the Tactical Carbine Vol 1" I went strait back to order Vol 2 and the handgun videos to complete my collection. Flashy bells and whistles will only get you so far in style points, but they will not save your life like repetitive and effective training! Spend your money on range time, bullets, and these before you buy the bells and whistles for that brand new gun you just bought.

The trailer has me intrigued. I've done a good bit of advanced marksmanship in the Army, mostly with the M4, so this looks interesting.
I went ahead and ordered a copy.

I'm now through the first two DVDs. Wow, they are packed full of information that will keep me busy honing my skills for a long time to come. For the price of a few boxes of ammo this set is well worth your while.

I'm partway through the first DVD and am already seriously reconsidering my daily carry and level of training. Come to find out Magpul has a lot of training in my area so that's really got my wheels turning to try some of this training in person.
