I read a lot of posts on this website and have seen many references to Massad Ayoob and his books. I want to thank the website for this great info. I received the book Friday and just finished reading it and it sure was full of a lot of good information. Its a good read for anyone. Thanks again everyone.

I agree. I stumbled across that book awhile back at the local gun store.
Lots of good info in it. It's on the "required reading" list for my daughter.

I received it as a Christmas present in 2008. Great resource, and I've paid it forward as gifts to my father and brothers. Online forums and the interwebz are great, but I still appreciate "analog" technology of books and magazines.

I ran across it dozens of times at Barnes and Noble and it is one of the great books out there even though I didn't bought it. But I do have the "Concealed Carry Handgun Manual" which also has some useful info. as well as a list of incidents in which an armed citizen used a firearm to defend him/herself/a loved one.
