Some 45 auto has crimping behind the bullet, the case head is fatter than the mouth, and even with an upward angle in the mag, nosedives can occur.

Im running an upgraded Remington R1, with Mec-Gar 8 round mags. So far, shes been 100% with about 1k down the pipe.
I agree, I see lots of guys shooting cheap mags and having issues, they slap in my mec gars and presto, problem solved.
For about 20$ each, you cant beat em.
