There is allot (i mean allot) of firearm related information on the internet. Being a new shooter, I get confused, biased, and sometimes good information.

I like watching video's of gun reviews and range action. Even though both, hickok and Nutnfancy are pro Glock guys, I tend to lean toward the opinions of hickok45. I find his assessments to be more accurate and non biased.
What say you?

Hickock, Nut'n Facny seems a little too cultish and 40+ minutes for a youtube video is just too dang long.

I just tried to watch nutnfancy's video on the Walther PPQ... I couldn't do it, I can sit and listen to Hickok's ramblings all day long, just something about the other guy unless he cuts to the chase I'm done.Originally Posted by JD

I like some of Nut'n Fancy's stuff, but have to agree that 40+ minutes of his rambling is a bit much! I haven't seen many of hickock45's videos, but I like what I've seen so far.

Just my assessment, but Nutnfancy seems to be too self absorbed to take anything he says seriously. Maybe its just a female thing?
But if you all tell me to listen to him I will! That is the purpose of this thread....to spin me around 5x and then point me in the right direction :)
Some of Nutn' Fancy's stuff is good, don't get me wrong, but some of it is so....well I'll just post a link to this blog that I happen to partly agree with.

In terms of entertainment, I like Hickock, in terms of to the point and useful information I like The Military Arms Channel.
ETA: And don't get me started on the whole Sheep Dog thing.

I don't believe that its my responsibility to protect everyone just because I carry a weapon. Nobody died and made me a cop. I will protect myself and my loved ones and if.....and only "if" the opportunity presents itself that I may interfere with someone else's affairs whereas I don't risk injury to myself, it is at my discretion that I get involved.

Nut'nFancy is a great reviewer and I like his videos, IF it's something I am really interested in. But even for the stuff I'm interested in, he talks too much. He needs to cut his video times by 50% or more. Brevity is beautiful.

You don't have to wear a multi layered TF hat around me. Just maybe one layer to bounce off my liberal crap but you will soon see I'm not that bad?
