What section to find books in?
When I go to a bookstore, which section do you go to to find books about self-defense, firearm training, etc... Like if I wanted to pick up a copy of "In The Gravest Extreme", where would I look.
Or even just gun related books, how to clean/takedown, histories, blue book type stuff. Survivalist type books too, and even fiction. Are TEOTWAWKI type books just lumped in with the other fiction?
I'm just curious, because I have a list of books I want to start reading, but I never know where to look when I go to the store. I realize online might be easier to find them, but I don't do a whole lot of online shoping.

Probably in Non-Fiction, but the store owner will be glad to help you.
They might be over in the section with the plain brown paper covers too

I usually find them in "Sports". There usually isn't much actually on the shelves. I have much better luck on Amazon.com.

That's a different "book store" than I usually frequent.

Re: What section to find books in?
Last I looked, I found them between sports and non fiction but it's been a long time since I've bought a book anywhere besides online. :o

Online you can go to CR Williams website for his book. There are also a few oldies but goodies by Massad Ayood (sorry if I spelt it wrong) in Kindle reader format. And a few other e-readers.

In the Rare Editions section, like as not. Can't say I've seen a copy of that in a bookstore in 20yrs.

At many of the larger outdoors-oriented stores (ie, Dick's Sporting Goods, Bass Pro, etc), generally there is a gun/hunting related books area. At bookstores, I'd check the Non-Fiction section. Though, as in libraries, that variety of topics will likely be spread all over.

Just ask the customer service desk to look it up for you.
Easiest way is to go online to something like Borders Books and have them ship to the store for pickup.

Usually books on self defense are found in the Sports or sometimes hobby section...
You could go to *The Free Book* store... with the title of any book you would like to read... If they don't have it, they'll get it, for a nominal fee... $1-5...
*The Free Book* That's the local library... public library... get a card, read any book you wish... just return it. If you really like it,,, find a copy on line cheap... and buy it.
Read:
The Gift of Fear by Gavin De Becker
In The Gravest Extreme by Massad Ayoob
The Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn
From every encounter or scenario; yours, someone else's, real, or not...
