Thank God I had a Gun

This is a new book by Chris Bird that recounts 14 stories of the use of guns in self defense. I haven't read much of it yet but the first chapter on New Orleans is worth the price of the book. Excellent book!!

    Because I was Armed

Here is a scan of an article with a similar title. I lived about a 5 minute drive away from this shop before I moved to Japan a couple months before this happened. I went there a few times as well, but I can't recall if I ever bought anything from Joe.

    Final score:

    Joe - 1 dislocated/broken thumb & 1 cut hand

    turd #1 - 3 .357 rounds to the chest =
    turd #2 - at least 1 .357 round though 1 little-used brain =

It can be purchased from Amazon.com for about $14.00. I bought it at a gun show for $20. because I wanted it right then.

Come in an audio book? That way I can read it while I am in my office on wheels.
