Bill Murphy and Eric Magness of FTA (Firearms Training Associates) in southern california have come out with a new book called The Concealed Carry Survival Guide. Anyone read it yet? I thumbed through one at Borders. IMO , it looked just OK.
If you're new to the game then maybe it's a good rule book. I'd save my money and just ask questions here or Google stuff. There's never anything new printed in these, it's just a rewash of the same old concepts.
Training means learning the rules. Experience means learning the exceptions.

I'll check that one out. I've read a couple and noticed a lot of similarities. But I figure the book at least keep me reading and those fundamentals fresh in my mind. Probably better than reading the latest Maxim mag but I still read that too.
