Survival library
I'm looking to create a survival library. I did some looking around and "Ragnar's Urban Survival: A Hard Times Guide to Staying Alive in the City" seems like a good start. I had also thought of "The Poor Man's James Bond." I want suggestions of good shooting, camping, reloading and anything else needed to live without help from the outside world in a SHTF situation. If this has been discussed before and I missed it, a link would be appreciated.

Just get the foxfire series of books and be done with it lol .
Make sure you get full value out of today , Do something worthwhile, because what you do today will cost you one day off the rest of your life .
We only begin to understand folks after we stop and think .
Criminals are looking for victims, not opponents.

Survival Guns, by Mel Tappan.
It's one of the classics.
When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.
Rudyard Kipling

My grandmother gave me her set from way back when. Some good stuff in there if you can keep up with the "appal-engish" in most of the interviews.
"My God David, We're a Civilized society."
"Sure, As long as the machines are workin' and you can call 911. But you take those things away, you throw people in the dark, and you scare the **** out of them; no more rules...You'll see how primitive they can get."

You can get all back issues of the Mother Earth News on CDs.
Betwixt the touchy-feely Save The Whales and Global Warming propaganda is a wealth of self-sufficiency information.

Good stuff. Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I have a few books now mostly medical stuff from my stint as a Corpsman.
I did get this book as a gag gift. I use it mostly as a prop on the coffee table.
