Just finished a book called "Gut Feelings: The intelligence of the unconscious" by Gerd Gigerenzer. I found this book to be very interesting and think it would be a good companion to "The Gift of Fear."
The book doesn't really focus on the "spidey sense" like DeBecker does, but rather delves into the accuracy that can be enjoyed when decisions are based on intuition or on basic rules of thumb.
It is not a self-defense book but some of the ideas and principles can easily be applied to the SD arena.

If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.

I havn't read the book, but I agree with the concept of a gut feeling.

It sounds like an interesting book. I'll add it to my Ebay book search list.
