I have gone through this site with my kids and the older ones can recite the 4 rules of firearms and the rules of what to do if you find a gun.

I have also had my Wife read through it as she started to show interest in getting her CHL.

That is a fantastic article. Her site is a must read and bookmark for ever woman shooter, and parent. We have been teaching all of those rules to our kids. My daughter who is now 5 has been handling the guns, unloaded, just like Kathy teaches. Whenever she asks we allow her to handle, unloaded, always, and take that teachable moment to reinforce gun safety. She said she didn't want to shoot yet, but would like a "pink gun, with rainbows on it" in the future. That's my girl!
