It shouldn't take but three or four evenings of reading to get through it. The book should be making it through the list more quickly than it is.

Gang: How's it coming?? Be sure to quickly read it, then move it along. Else, this will take years.

I, also, bought my own copy from Amazon a few weeks ago for $12.95. I've read it twice. I'd advise everyone to have their own copy, as it is worth reading more than once. Just my 2 cents worth. Of course, I have numerous books that I have acquired over the years and will refer back to years after I initially read them.

Just keep in mind that we can still get you one if you don't have time to get to it right away. Stuff happens, we all know this. If that's the case, just check the list and pass it on and we'll put you next in the que when you're back to normal.

    Thanks in advance!

This was my first book I ever bought on self-defense with guns. But perhaps if you want something more detailed, there is also a book titled "Concealed Handgun Manual", which has pretty much everything you need on CCW.

Yup. I've often had a half dozen copies on hand, passing them out like party favors to friends who needed the overview. I figure that the ones making the rounds here will spur a number of folks to acquire their own copy once it has been read. It's a worthwhile addition to the library, to be sure. Two thumbs up, despite having been penned 30yrs ago.

Okay, this is too good an idea and it has definitely started lagging. I just ordered three copies of the book to help out the cause. Next three on the list are:

    santa01
    whec716
    dsee11789

PM me to set up shipping details. By the way, if you haven't already done it, may I please suggest that anybody who asks to be added to the list subscribe to the thread so you know when people are posting to find a new reader...

Is it to late to be added to this list?

No problem, so long as the people that have the books keep quickly finishing them and sending them forward to the next folks in line.

I realize it has been a year since this was begun, but hopefully a number of people have gotten inspired by the reading and opted to acquire a permanent copy of their own for the library. It's definitely a book well worth having.

    Enjoy!

So...has this lost momentum? Or, as I think again, there's probably a lot of folks that are super busy with summer activities like I am. The last one Kazza sent was to dsee11789, and are you still looking for a reader teccles? Let's keep this moving! As for those who want on the list, just copy the newest list and put your name on the bottom.

Thanks to all that have made this happen.

There should be at least four copies, now, in circulation.

Suggestion: Whomever has one of these copies, PLEASE post here so that the full list of pending readers is updated and so that folks know the status of the books. Thanks.
