I saw an ad for the Personal Firearm Defense DVD series by Rob Pincus on SWAT TV. It's available at https://www.personaldefensedvd.com/Default.aspx
I'm probably going to get it, but I'm curious if any other members have seen it and recommend it.

Funny, just watched two of them with a guy from a local gun club yesterday. We went through
"Advanced Personal Defense: Combat Focus Shooting and Home Defense Tips DVD" and the "Advanced Pistol Handling". They provided some good explanations of Pincus' theory and techniques to support it, and they did NOT feel like just an advertisement to take one of his classes.
If you've taken some classes or had a little training, it's enough perspective to understand the lessons, and you'll likely pick up some good pointers (had a few 'Well duh!' moments while watching, such as one-handed reloading techniques).
For the price at your link, I think I'd get a set as well. That's 3 videos for what I'd have expected one of them to sell for!
Edit to add: At this price, I ordered a set for myself.

Thanks for the links and I just ordered the set.
Sounds like something I can show in my armed guard classes.
Thanks much, guys... Glad that the information is valuable. "Personal Defense Network" is a sister project to the Personal Firearms Defense DVD series and we area offering that 3 DVD set at the special price as part of our launch for the new project.

I have the set offered through the NRA, and also ordered this set for easy access, I am wondering if they are the same material. The NRA ones are pretty good though.
thanks for the link. I ordered a copy.

Matt,
I do not, unfortunately. Those orders do not go through my company store at I.C.E. Training | Home . I would expect that they (PDN) are processing orders in 2-4 weeks.

Rob, thanks for all your demonstrations on the Outdoor Channel. I set my DVR to record all the shows (Best Defense, SWAT, American Guardian, etc). I truly enjoy (and pay attention to) your segments on those shows. Michael Janich is also great.
Keep up the fabulous work.I'm willing to bet you are helping people avoid and/or get through some nasty situations and possibly even saving some lives.

After seeing a Rob Pincus dvd, and a Thunder Ranch DVD, I would def recommend Rob's video's. Have the magpul, but havent watched it. I like Rob's delivery and demo's better. Some valuable info in Clint's tape, but its more long winded and roundabout than Rob's so harder to follow than the Personal Defense Series
.. If last as long in the industry as Clint has, I'll probably have more to say too... ;-)I like Rob's delivery and demo's better. Some valuable info in Clint's tape, but its more long winded and roundabout than Rob's so harder to follow than the Personal Defense Series
Well the DVD's arrived today.
Time to do some "homework"
Rob, you did a extreme close quaters shooting tape? when , where , how much?etc.......
