People are always going to do foolish things and go in harms way even though common sense tells them not to.

People like to gamble and roll the dice. That's why most casino's are booming businesses. Sometimes people gamble with their life or that of the families lives, although they rarely look at it from that perspective at the time. But really... when the dice comes up short... they should have known better.

Yeah, Mexico can be a great place to visit or vacation. Some great resort areas, excellent scuba diving off both coasts, beautiful culture. I've been to Mexico before and loved it.

But these days? I wouldn't go there on a bet!

And Juarez...? Those folks from New Mexico, USA really should have known better. I'm in Missouri, and I'm keenly aware of what's going on down in Juarez, and all the border communities. Someone who lives in a border State have no excuse not to know what's happening with the cartels and warring factions.

Again, Mexico remains a No Go for me and my family.

A good online awareness, assessment and avoidance course is:

"15 Seconds to Safety" and covers most of what you're looking for regarding target of opportunity attacks.

    It's a very in-depth course...worth checking out.
