If you do the Mag deal You can get two higher capacity round mags to stick in the bottom...

And you can find them for a much lower price than suggested by the S&W site.... I got mine for 5 and 3 quarters

I have the springfield XD(m) 9mm 4.5" and LOVE it. its holds 19 rounds. Can also get it in a 3.8" or of course the normal XD in 3" or 4".

If you want a 45 I would HIGHLY suggest one of the following depending on the size you want:
    Springfield Armory
    Springfield Armory
    Springfield Armory

I think the XD has great features for CCing, as well as a high mag count, and of course extremely reliable, easy to shoot, and accurate.

I've got to pay the tax man first so, it will probably be a few months.
SIG p220 is an excellent gun but I would go with a p250. I have a p250 chambered in 9mm and am looking at purchasing a grip module and caliber x-change kit in 45acp.

Indeed, ANOTHER vote for the XD .45 compact.

(and with the ability to add the extended grip/mag for 14 rounds of .45, you get the best of both worlds.)

I am a Glock guy and highly recommend the G30. Don't overlook the M&P45C though. Also a very nice gun.

HK 45C a little more expensive but well worth the money.

I never shot the Glock 36, but it felt nice in the hand. My friend has a Glock 30, and it's solid.

Kimber Stainless Ultra Raptor II. Not sure if that has a safety though come to think of it.
It is utterly illogical to believe that passing laws to reduce gun violence will be successful when those who are commiting the gun violence do not obey the law.
