I'm looking for advice on purchasing a new semi auto in 45 acp. Here are my requirements:
1- "compact" size for concealed carry
2- no manual safety (DA)
3- the most round capacity possible
I have found the Sig P220 CARRY DAK with an 8 round capacity. Is there a better option?

Look at the HK USP45c (LEM version ). Capacity of 9, IIRC.

No, there is nothing better than the P220. The P250 has more capacity though, it holds 9+1
EDIT: I'd still take the P220 everyday over the P250

P220 if you are comfortable with the size. If not, GLOCK 30. The G30 is a little on the small side for me, but it may be good for you.

Glock 30 or XD45compact. Either one of these are top notch, not too much $$, and most importantly ...reliable. good luck

I am a 1911 fan but the G30 sure looks good, I hope to get my hands on one soon... Springfield makes the XD and those do feel good, Taurus 745 and 145, also G36, Para had the LDA 1911 also...
