I switched from Sigs (on/off duty guns for 15 years) to the Glock 19 five years ago.

The Glock 19 has been my primary (about 90% of the time) carry gun since then and I can state that without a doubt, it is the one gun that everyone should have.

My 25th Anniversary is coming up this summer and my wife asked me what I wanted, I replied that I want to send one of my three 19s to Bowie Tactical and have him work up a custom 19 for me.

She said ok, so now I'm going to have the pleasure of having a custom 19 to go along with my other 19s. Oh yeah, I will most likely be buying a 4th Gen 19 as soon as they hit the dealers shelves.

Yeah, I like the Glock 19.
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

Said it before and I'm saying it again... if I could only have 1 pistol for the rest of my life, it's the G19. Everytime I tinker with the idea of carrying something else, the G19 calls me back.

I bought my first pistol, a G19 Homeland Defender edition, with 4 mags, night sights, and a tac light back in '06, have put about 2200 rounds through it, and its arguably my #1 pistol. Love it to high heaven.

    I love David Bowies stuff....congrats.

To the OP...the 19 is one of the best for a reason. I love my 23 and will own a 19 someday.

The Glock 19 is my favorite all around self defense pistol, reliable to a fault, and easy to clean and much more accurate then I am! No wonder U.S. military pilots choose this pistol when flying over hostile territory.
    God bless our troops!

I love my G19! I shoot it better (more accurately) than my G34 for some reason. At night, the G19 sits next to me on the night stand with a 33 rd mag full of Golden Saber +P. THAT should do it!

I love both my G19 and 26. However, if I could only have one, it would be the 26 - does everything the 19 does, but in a smaller, more easily concealed package.

Nowadays, my G19 is my home defense pistol, the G26 is my Smartcarry pistol, and my LCP lives in my pocket.

My first Glock(a Gen 3) also. It replaced my duty S&W Model 64. When I retired and left New York had the NY trigger spring replaced with the stock set-up. Have an OEM extended slide and magazine release. Love the gun, even though I was a late convert(2000).

Thinking along the same lines. I carry my G26 more and would like to put a SureFire on the 19 and make that the "House Gun"(along with my 870 Tactical sitting in my closet). I want an LCRto be in my pocket as the BUG to the G26 or my winter EDC..my Colt OM.
