Stainless w/ Night Sights. I found one for $1350... which seems high to me.
-Kel-Tec P3AT .380 w/ Crimson Trace Laserguard and Clip Extension (summer carry)
-Kahr PM9 9mm w/ Crimson Trace Laserguard and Clip Extension (new summer carry)
-Glock 27 .40 w/ Crimson Trace Laserguard and Clip Extension (winter carry)
-Taurus PT945 .45 (more or less retired from carry)
My buddy paid $1250 a year ago + tax. Stainless w/all the added checkering in the grip, etc. Sights.....hmmm. I "think" night sights but cannot be sure. A lot of water under the bridge since then. He bought at, what I believe to be, the best priced shop in the state of North Carolina. That helped. And, Kimber is back logged months (and perhaps more months) in terms of manufacturing to demand. If you find one you want, there isn't much wiggle room in prices right now. So there it is, your price is probably fair based on that (boy I hope I got that all right :) All that said, his is a fine gun. And if I know him, it'll look like it's still NIB the day it passes to one of his kids. Those guns are worth that kind of care, for sure.
One other thing; he bought the 22 conversion for his from Kimber. Great investment. He can plink 22 all day, keep his frame, feel and trigger and afford to shoot.
What if the Hokey Pokey IS what it's all about?
