    Looking for a sa/da ccw

I recently got my ccw license here in Nevada and i am looking for a new gun, that is da/sa hammer fire with a 3-4" barrel. Currently in my carry line up is a glock 27, Taurus PT145, Taurus PT738, s&w 642, and an NAA .22 w/ holster grip.
So i was looking for a metal frame gun since i already have a large collection of plastic guns. Don't want an HK but i do have my eye on the p239. I was thinking of a compact IWI "baby eagle"? But cant seem to find one..

any input would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum from Virginia.

Take a look at the CZ line. Either the CZ75 P-01 in 9mm or the P-06 in .40 cal.

Was gonna say P30 until I saw no H&K.

I've heard good things about CZ pistols. I have one of their rifles and LOVE it.

    .22 for CCW?

i say no HK due to one bad experience i had. maybe i should not fault then for the rest of my life about it. I bought a new USP .40 a few years ago; right out of the box it did not fire, every round was FTF. took it back to the gun store, who sent it back to HK. About a month later i had the gun back and a bill for about $200 saying that the problem was no fault of HK. I ended up splitting the bill with gun gun store. and have never bought another HK.

and the .22 was a trade for 250 rounds of reloaded .223... Good trade huh? lol

I love my old Sig 228 which is now my wifes weapon. NEVER a bobble in over 50K rounds. The 239 is a great weapon also, but has 5 fewer rounds in 9mm. I like the extra 5 shots the 228 has. It's a very easy weapon to conceal, accurate and very reliable.

    JMHO but I love Sigs!

Something like a S&W 686, 2.5" is nice. If you load, Unique or Win 231, behind a 125 gr JHP gets the job done in the short barrel. Nice not to have to fumble with a safety and such. No jams or stovepipes either. Kinda simple. Seems to stop folks that need stopin' too.

I like the 3rd generation S&W autos American made and, many to choose from, name your caliber. The Euro's have nothing on them.

P239 or P228. Sigs are quality. As of now, my P239 is almost 1K rds and has been trouble free. Is it heavy? Yes. Is it low cap? Yes. But its smooth, accurate, and its the smallest size I can trust myself to handle in a defensive situation.

RAMI, PCR, P-01. Compact or P-07 Duty.

There seems to be a CZ pistol for everyone!

I recently got the CZ 75D Compact PCR.

It's reliable and accurate with two 14 round magazines and the grip is one of the best and points naturally.
