I voted G19 but carry the G26 or G30. I have a G19, and the G26 conceals much better for me. Now, I do carry a G30 in cold weather. It is the same size as the G19 pretty much, but is 10rnds of .45ACP. See the beauty in this setup... It is the same in every way as my G26 just bigger. Anyway, if G26 was in the polling I would have voted for it. I know, I know it's a sub-compact.

Out of the pistolas in the poll I voted Kahr but there are still better alternatives. Smaller, lighter, slimmer pistols in the same caliber. KelTec PF9 for example or the aforementioned 709 Slim. Just a thought.

It's not listed but take a look at the Walther PPS. It's very thin and it's a tack driver. Much more accurate than my glocks or my M&P's. I don't own a XD so I xant speak for them. I carry mine in a CTAC and it just disappears.

    M&P compact.

My 40c is my primary more than any other gun.

I've shot the Glock 19, I've shot the XD, and I've shot the M&P9c...... I like the M&P better.... That's why I own one.

For the specific question of compact, I voted Glock 19. However, my CC choice is currently the Taurus 709 SLIM, as it's slightly smaller than the G26, thinner, but has a larger grip, which fits my hand better.

I'd say the XD9C would be a close 2nd to the G19, though (For Compacts only, of course).
