Well it has taken a few months of research and visiting gun shops and ranges but at last I have my carry pistol and holster. It is a Beretta Px4 Storm sub compact in 9mm. It is simply sweet in my hand. I am wearing a Cross Breed Supertuck. Here are a couple of pics.

cool. i thought about a px4 as well. It felt great in the hand but when i shot it i just didn't like the feel compared to the p2000sk. Glad you like it though. nice rig.
Very nice. I plan on looking at the very same tomorrow. I'm seriously thinking about getting it instead of a G26 (which is complete heresy for a Glocker like myself).
That is what I did. My best friend is LEO and they use Glock exclusively. I shot his in 40cal many times. Both th3 medium frame and the sub. While both shot well and are impeccable SD pistols from everything I read, I did mot like the feel at all. That is how I ended up with the Storm. The feel in the hand for me and the way it points is awesome. I am going to replace the sights with Trijicon but other than that it is perfect for me.
What are your thoughts on the trigger? When I shot a PX4 Storm, I thought the trigger was VERY rough, kind of gritty feeling. The gun I shot was NIB the day I shot it. A friend of mine bought it, and invited me to the range that day. We cleaned it together (since he is a novice with guns), then put around 200 rnds through it.
I am quite a novice myself having only owned a Taurus 605 357 before. I have shot quite a few handguns but not carried. So the drawing is getting easier. The holster was really tight at first but now the Storm goes in easy as long as I can find the hole. As far as the trigger. It fells fine to me. Maybe someone with an educated finger can find some roughness but I don't. The take up in the single action mode is kind of long but once it is taken up the firing is very nice. I am excited about getting to the range. for me the trigger is much better than the DOA of the Glock and I think that will translate to better groups. The recoil is very manageable with target lead rounds. I have not shot any defense loads yet.
