As you can see from my avitar I have one just like it, and it is a fantastic weapon. 1000's of rounds thru mine, never a FTF, FTE. An excelent shooter, and a natural pointer too. Congrats, and years from now you will be telling this to someone who just bought their first.

Congrats...I wish I had gotten a Hp for my 40th bday in Jan...(I got a sweet barrel for one of my rifles) is it a 9mm or a 40 cal? I have a brand new MKIII and I love it...Robbie

I have it's Brother, also in forty. The P35 is the sweetest shootin' forty I've ever handled, and the Hi Power is the finest fightin' handgun ever created.

Birthday Brownings are the Greatest!
When I turned 21 my dad let me pick any handgun of his I wanted. I picked the Browning Hi-Power in 9mm. I would never chalk it up to be a carry gun for me, but it is by far my favorite range gun.

I actually do carry the 9mm and plant to carry this one too. Probably not in the middle of the summer but fall/winter for sure.
