She and one of her roomies who wants to learn to shoot will be in town in about 7 weeks and will be shopping for her first carry weapon. I have a tentative date with BugDude for her to try out his Taurus Slim (thanks, 'Dude!), and I would love to let her shoot other single-stack 9mm offerings as well.
We're a half-hour south of Christiansburg which means we can travel an hour or two in any direction. There's a range in Roanoke we could meet at, if that's convenient. And the wife and girls may be heading for Virginia Beach if you're out that direction.
Thanks!

She's welcome to try any or all of my guns (P95, 442, 49, SP101, Service Six, XD40sc, PT709 - and several 22s as well). Just let me know when you want to go to the range in Roanoke (I go to PSS a couple times a month)...gives me a good excuse to go to town. They have rental guns. You can call them to see which ones they have to try out. Really cool folks there.

Guns are like sex and air...its no big deal until YOU can't get any.

If you ever roam down by L.A. (Kalifornia), She would be very welcome to try out my Kahr CW-9 or the similar sized Walther PPS (both in 9mm)---both very good pistols.

Send her out to Phoenix for spring break, and this COF (Certified Old Fart) will be happy to escort her to the range and lend her my CW9, PT111, K40, G23, and various .45s... as well as a few wheel guns. Lady C (Mrs. Smitty) will be happy to tag along for gender support and to learn more herself.
You're a good dad, looking after your girl like this!
