    my first glock!

well i did it. after i did a lot of reserch, i bought a glock 36. i read a lot of articles on them good and bad. went to the local gun show yesterday and bought one. came home and ran abut 100 rounds through it. not one problem. seems accurate enough. could not find a houlster that i liked. i have been looking at the leather cc houlsters. found a blackhawk with a thumb break that said it was for the 36 but i could never get the back strap snaped. i will check at some more places on monday. also like the way it broke down for cleaning, easiest i ever had.

Congrats! Any negative press was likely from early versions. You hear nothing but goodness now.

Congrats. The Blackhawk holster is probably the correct holster for the G36 you just need to beak it in and soften it up first. If that doesn't work take a look at the High Noon Bare Asset. I've got one for my G36 and love it. It's cheap (around $25), beyond comfortable, and the gun rides high enough to avoid getting caught on your shirt whenever you bend over.

You are gonna love it. I bought my Glock a few months ago and I have no regrets. I decided on Glock because of HEAVY word of mouth reccomedations from friends on the local PD and SD. It's not ugly, it's a work of simplicity! If anyone gives you crap about your ugly Glock, ask them if they own one of those pretty pink Taurus'!

The Glock-36 is my EDC, and I love the gun.
It usually rests in one of these two holsters...

    OWB FIST, INC.

I bought seven guns this year (yikes! how did that happen?). The last two were the G26 & G36. After the first five, I reunited with my 1986 Glock 17, my nightstand gun which I hadn't shot for years. That reunion brought into focus the dissatisfaction I'd felt with the other five I'd just bought. I hope you'll love the Glock too.

There's no snap closure, but this nylon belt slide holster covers the trigger and holds all three Glocks close to the body, is inexpensive and doesn't scream "holster" when observed empty. Order the size 22-17:

I think I am gonna end up with a cross breed due to its adustable cant. I already wasted a ton of money on cheapy IWB, I hope this one works. My cheap black Uncle Mikes has dropped the gun getting out of a resturaunt booth already, that aint cool!!!!!!

That's the gun I carry the most. Usually loaded with TAP 200gr +P. It goes in a Don Hume H721 O.T.
(I really think it a good holster at a good price... IMHO)
Some think that capacity of the G36 is a problem but I disagree.
I feel good with 7 rounds of .45
