Bersa Thunder .380 Range Report
Today was my moms first trip to the range with her new Bersa Thunder .380 The week before we spent about 2 hours at the gun store browsing and handling just about everything they had. The Bersa is what she picked out because of the grip and the sights. Also the price point was right (Even though I offered to pitch in 200.00 on something else). She ended up just liking the way the Bersa felt.
Just as a little back ground. I learned to shoot on a Bersa .380 It was the first gun my dad bought and the one I “cut my teeth on”. Back then (about 20 years ago) I don’t know if it was called the “Thunder” but regardless it’s every bit as good as I remember it being. We put three rounds of various ammo (including reloads) through with no problems.
-Reliable so far
-Crazy easy to strip and clean
-Is good for mom because she’s comfortable with .380 and shoots it well
-Only came with one mag (Which I can understand as she paid 329.00 out the door)
-I had the adjust my grip to keep my thumb off the slide but it fit her smaller hands perfectly
Overall I am pretty impressed. It’s a quality piece and a steal at under 350.00. If you looking for a non pocket .380 carry gun give the Bersa Thunder a shot.
