very nice I got one also and love it. so much nicer than the Glock 23 it replaced.

Here's anther comparison picture. Ruger SR9C and Glock 36 also compare very favorably in size.

thats what I normaly say when people ask its size I say Glock 36 size not quite as small as the 26/27 but smaller than the 19/23. and thinner then the 19/23 also almost the same as the 36Originally Posted by Freedomofchoice

The SR9c is a very nice weapon. I got to shoot a buddy's at the range and I was very impressed with it in every way. I'm sure this is going to be a big hit for Ruger. I'm a Ruger fan myself....I have 3 (Service Six, P95, SP101). I've already got another brand 9mm this size, or I'd have 4.

The only real 9mm I own is a Ruger SR9c and I love it.

I have been looking at three compacts. The SR9c the Taurus 709 and the Springfield xd9sc. The xd is the only one my range has for rental. and I am leaning away from the grip safety. None of my other handguns have it so it feels uncomfortable to me. The price I see for the SR9 makes me wonder about quality. Rugers are usually quite expensive.

On the contrary, I think that Ruger has always been regarded as a company that produces a quality product at an affordable price.
