I was skeptical about Taurus at first, I bought a pt 92 about a year ago. Roughly 600 rounds throught it now, never had a problem.
I have previously owned two taurus pistols, the PT11 9mm and a Millinium Pro .45.
Bought both brand new, and both couldn't fire a full clip of ammo without jamming.
On the other hand I have owned two Ruger pistols, a model P89M 9mm and the LCP. Have put over 1000 rounds of various makes and types of rounds through the P89m, no jams, a couple of miss fires on faulty rounds. The LCP has over 500 rounds of hardball and various brands of hollowpoints and it has fired each and every time.
The Taurus TCP may have a better feel to it, and may kick less, and have a smoother trigger pull, but if I can't rely on it 1000%, I'm not trusting my life with it!
When I pull my LCP, I know its going to perform flawlessly.
The only way I would risk buying a TCP is if the gun dealer let me test fire it for 100 rounds before I bought it.
I bought my TCP when they first came out and had problems after thirty rounds. I sent it in and two weeks later it came back with trigger, hammer and slide release replacements. I think all the new ones have the fix. Mine is a little ammo sensitive (S&B FTF) but have no problems with proven ammo. They won't run when real dirty like a Glock will but I like mine well enough.

Still waiting on Taurus to return my TCP after a month. Broke the magazine catch in less than 30 rounds. When it gets back, it's outta here. Lesson learned.
Slow is smooth.....smooth is fast.
Never had problems with mine :)
I should rather save money and get a PM9.

We have a TCP in our family and have had no problem with it.
I would buy a Kel Tec P3AT, the little gun that started all this 380acp craze.
Wife and my P3ATs have been 100% with near 500 rounds through each of them.

I love only that which they defend.
I picked up my TCP a couple of hours ago. I plan on shooting it this weekend. I hope I don't experience some of the problems other shooters have had. I'm excited to shoot it!
Question: The gun comes with a carry pouch. With the pouch exposed, is the gun still considered concealed? I'll attach a photo of the gun and of me wearing the pouch.
My TCP went back to Taurus today... Disconnector hanging up on...something; making a clicking sound and feel in the trigger. Hammer misaligned, and less than perfect slide to frame fit. We will see if at the end of this warranty service if i am still a Taurus fan
IMHO, if you cannot tell what is in that pouch, then it's concealed. It could be a camera, a large PDA, medical device, or just a pouch containing keys/medicine/phone/money/passport/etc etc...
You can't help what conclusions people make.
Unless part of the weapon is exposed (which it is not with that pouch) it is considered concealed. The gun comes with a carry pouch. With the pouch exposed, is the gun still considered concealed? I'll attach a photo of the gun and of me wearing the pouch.
I've put 200 rounds through mine. Two jams, but that seems to be the case during break in. It's a good $280 purchase for me.
